What makes for a livable city? That question is the nub of this project – with the contention that there isn’t such a thing as the ideal and most livable city!
Far from it, every one has their very personal ideas and expectations about the ingredients that make for living quality in citites. With a wink one embarks thus upon a very personal quest for the fairest city in the World.
The idea for «The World’s fairest city – yours and mine» evolved during the course of «Urban Identity and Design» at the institute for design research design2context. The book and the appropriate website – www.fairestcityintheworld.org – proposes that you reflect upon your own experiences and your subjective perception of cities and compare cities with one another.
